Identify the level of male pattern baldness by using the Hamilton-Norwood scale

The Hamilton-Norwood scale is a standard measurement scale of male pattern baldness, which ranges from stages I to VII. (The higher the number, the more advanced the loss). It was originally by Dr. James Hamilton in the 1950s years introduced and later revised and updated by Dr. was tar Norwood in the 1970s.

The Hamilton-Norwood scale, we can categorize the level of male pattern baldness. It is one of the easiest ways to determine how far you can be with hair loss and what you can expect if you left untreated. May is no perfect way of measuring this magnitude baldness, but it is the most common and well known way to available so far.

THE RATE OF HAIR LOSS

The rate of men lose hair, is very independent. It can start in your teenager 20s or 30 s. Typically 50% of the men is a certain amount of hair loss at the age of 30 years of experience, but some men will lose their hair very quickly in the 1920s and level 3 or level 4, until then for the rest of their lives. Other men may have no detectable amount of hair loss, until in the 1950s, only to switch are level 6 or section 7 in just a few years.

Normally, if the individual to thin it starts early in life is a very good chance that he is destined for much hair loss. The family history is an important indicator, which we can explore may be to determine how far hair loss, look to both sides of your parents, particularly all older males advance is: your grandfathers, father, uncles, brothers, etc..

2 MAIN FORMS OF HAARAUSFALLS: ANTERIOR AND VERTEX

Men usually lose their hair in 2 main types are first receding at the temples, we call it anterior (front) and the other is on the top of mind known as corner point (back).

As we can clearly see from the diagram, 1 to level 2 is mild level, only minor recession of the hairline and the central front part of the scalp are less dense. Prevention is better than cure, early diagnosis of hair loss means problems, that you in the early stages and more you can start the treatments hairs are a complete head to return, if you follow the right recommendations.

From stage 3, stage 4 is only moderate, hair loss is clearly visible. The hairline moved deeper into the rear compared to level 2 with bald spot grows larger. It is the defining moment, and you should take more aggressive steps to save your hair. Without treatment, the conditions would be worse!

Finally from step 5 7 is more difficult to stage, in fact be topicality or medicines not effective in these two stages, but you should look at it a different perspective, there are several solutions available that can look at: hair transplantation, to weave hair, wearing hats or wigs, do that look like bald!
